Uniform Guidance for Pass-through Entities

Join us for an exclusive training session tailored for state monitors and pass-through entities. This comprehensive program will cover essential aspects of the Uniform Guidance, including an introduction to 2 CFR Part 200, subrecipient financial monitoring, procurement standards, cost principles, and audit requirements. This training is specifically designed for grant managers, financial officers, and compliance officers responsible for monitoring or managing subrecipients. Day 1: Introduction and General Provisions

  1. Overview of Uniform Guidance: Introduction to 2 CFR Part 200, including its purpose and applicability.
  2. Administrative Requirements: Discussion on pre-award and post-award requirements, including notices of funding opportunities, risk assessment, and specific grant conditions.
  3. Subrecipient Monitoring: Review financial management and reporting, managing and monitoring subrecipients to ensure compliance, and internal controls.

 

Day 2

  1. Procurement Standards: We will cover the rules and regulations for procurement under federal awards.
  2. Performance Measurement: Strategies for measuring and reporting performance outcomes.
  3. Records: Review regulations around record retention and access.

 

Day 3

  1. Cost Principles: Guidelines on allowable costs, cost allocation, and indirect costs.
  2. Audit Requirements: Information on audit processes, including single audits and audit findings.
