Uniform Guidance regulation training

Join us for a practical and engaging virtual training of the Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB) Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200) — the cornerstone of federal grant compliance. This training is designed to help nonprofit and government professionals understand federal grant regulations and how to apply them effectively and avoid common pitfalls in managing federal awards. EARN CPE CREDITS: Wipfli Advisory LLC is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: NASBAregistry.org.

Earn up to 10 total CPE credits in accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. CPE credits are granted based on a 50-minute hour. Instructional delivery: Group, live.

Learning objectives:

    • Recognize the key components and structure of the Uniform Guidance, including its subparts and their relevance to federal award management.
    • Summarize the key administrative and financial requirements related to internal controls, procurement, and cost principles.
    • Identify key financial policies and procedures for alignment with Uniform Guidance standards, particularly in such areas as allowable costs, documentation and allocation.
    • Discuss allowable and unallowable costs to help you determine appropriate treatment of expenses under federal awards.
