- Recognize the key components and structure of the Uniform Guidance, including its subparts and their relevance to federal award management.
- Summarize the key administrative and financial requirements related to internal controls, procurement, and cost principles.
- Identify key financial policies and procedures for alignment with Uniform Guidance standards, particularly in such areas as allowable costs, documentation and allocation.
- Discuss allowable and unallowable costs to help you determine appropriate treatment of expenses under federal awards.
