For the last 15 years, the healthcare industry has been inundated with noise about HIPAA compliance and risk management. But in the last five years, healthcare has become ground zero for attacks and healthcare industry media resources’ “go-to news” for cyberattacks and breaches. During this session you will hear from a 40-year-career security professional — who has developed, led and audited many security programs — about why it’s important to start taking cybersecurity seriously, including the criticality to your business and patient safety. In addition, you will learn why this is not an information technology issue and obtain useful advice on what you can do without “breaking the bank.”

Identifying new services, evaluating options and integrating selected services in the RHC can be a daunting task. In this session, we will share strategies to identify services that may be needed in the community, as well as how to evaluate, introduce and/or expand new services that meet those needs.
